What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Engineer for Airline Domain (Only Atlanta LOCALS) position at Datum Technologies Group?
Role: Field Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA, United States (Local only)

Shifts - (largely 6-7am start (5, 8 hour days) anywhere from Sunday to Saturday. 4-week time frame)
Length of Assignment:
2–3 months
Schedule & Shifts:
Night shifts required
10-hour or 12-hour shifts
Flexibility is essential due to changing project timelines
At the OCC, the work consists of deinstallation of the current Zetron at 199 positions and the subsequent installation of the new system at 225 positions. The schedule of work at the OCC will depend on the final cutover plan to be determined in the next two weeks. It is currently planned as 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, working a rotating schedule Sunday through Saturday; the start times are unknown currently but likely to be 0600.
At the RCC, the equipment to be deinstalled and installed includes:
1. Speakers
2. Headsets
3. Handsets
4. USB hubs
5. Cabling for the items above.
6. Connection to the new media docks and jack boxes.
The equipment to be deinstalled and installed at the OCC includes:
1. Shelf unit to hold console
2. Console workstation (W10 MoM)
3. Media Dock
4. ACU unit
5. Jack boxes
6. Cable extenders
7. USB hub x2
8. Cable manager x2
9. Speakers
10. Handset
11. Headset
12. Monitor
13. Ethernet cable from port key through tray and slat wall to console workstation
14. Power cabling from floor through the tray and slat wall to console workstation
Tools required (per Zetron instruction-tools are available on-site):

3. #1 - Philips Screwdriver
4. #0 x 1 1⁄2 - Philips Screwdriver
5. 10 to 18 Gauge – Wire Strippers
6. Small Diagonal Cutters
7. Box Cutter
8. Power Drill (Screwdriver)
9. #2 square bit (Robertson) for Power Drill
The work also includes cable management, asset management, testing of each position and trash cleanup.
