Job Description
We are seeking a Field Support Technician to provide operational support for IT infrastructure across office environments, reservation centers, and airport locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting end-user hardware, software, and infrastructure while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for IT infrastructure across multiple locations.
- Perform Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) activities for IT equipment.
- Deliver onsite technical support during field visits and dispatched service requests.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues and implement effective solutions.
- Produce accurate and timely service reports.
- Document technical processes, procedures, and resolutions.
- Collect and analyze system performance data to support troubleshooting efforts.
- Manage workflow efficiently to meet scheduled service commitments.
- Accurately document complex issues and their resolutions.
- Develop workaround procedures when standard processes are ineffective.
- Troubleshoot software installation, configuration, and setup issues for field engineers, technicians, and end users.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through professional support.
- Safely use ladders and perform work that may require physical movement of equipment.
Qualifications:
- Experience providing field technical support in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
- Experience with IMAC activities.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple service requests.
Ability to safely use a ladder when required.
