The IB Product Manager will manage the implementation and delivery of Datazoic’s CRM and analytics platform for Investment Banking clients. The role requires strong Investment Banking knowledge, as the individual will serve as the primary liaison between senior client stakeholders and Datazoic’s internal teams, translating banking workflows into clear requirements and effective platform solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage client implementations from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, launch, and post-launch support.
- Build effective relationships with senior bankers and executives while providing clear updates, managing expectations, and maintaining a high level of client service.
- Document Investment Banking workflows covering origination, pitching, mandates, due diligence, execution, closing, and post-transaction reporting.
- Define requirements for M&A, restructuring, debt and equity capital markets, deal pipelines, transaction stages, milestones, deal teams, fees, and closing dates.
- Advise senior client stakeholders on translating Investment Banking workflows into CRM configurations, functional requirements, dashboards, pipeline reports, call reports, and senior-management reporting.
- Establish implementation standards, review project documentation and deliverables, and guide junior team members to ensure consistent quality, accurate requirements, and successful client adoption.
- Coordinate project workstreams with product, development, and data teams while managing timelines, risks, priorities, data validation, user testing, and issue resolution.
- Lead client meetings, document decisions, and ensure client information, transaction data, and implementation activities follow applicable internal policies and controls.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Finance or Business Administration)
Qualifications
Five to seven years of experience as an analyst or in a financial-technology implementation role, directly supporting Investment Banking clients, is required. Candidates must have an excellent understanding of corporate finance transactions, the complete deal lifecycle, call reporting, client coverage, pipeline management, transaction reporting, and the workflows of analysts, associates, and senior bankers.
Required Skills
- Five to seven years of relevant Investment Banking experience.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, lead multiple projects, handle confidential transaction data, and deliver accurately under critical deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of JIRA, Notion, Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft SharePoint Services, along with Microsoft Access, Visio, and Project.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, regulatory considerations, and the handling of sensitive client transaction information.
- Excellent client communication, project management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret banker workflows, financial analyses, valuation outputs, and transaction data and translate them into system requirements.
- Experience with call reports, client interactions, relationship tracking, deal sheets, pipeline reports, and management dashboards.
- Understanding of M&A, restructuring, debt and equity capital markets, strategic alternatives, deal pipelines, fees, and transaction milestones.
