QA/QC Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre Projects
Location: 6 months in Aiken, SC (per diem & travel), then Charlotte, NC
Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 Benefits
The Opportunity
Join a leading national electrical contractor delivering cutting-edge hyperscale data center projects across the U.S.
You’ll start with a 6-month onboarding project in Aiken, SC, before relocating to Charlotte, NC to lead the QA/QC program on a flagship data center valued at $300M . This is a high-visibility leadership role with full ownership of quality strategy, team management, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA/QC delivery across large-scale data center projects
- Manage and mentor QA/QC teams (office & field)
- Act as primary QA/QC contact for clients, GCs, and stakeholders
- Implement and drive quality systems, compliance, and improvements
- Oversee inspections, documentation, testing, and turnover
- Collaborate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams
Requirements
- 10 years QA/QC experience in electrical construction
- 5 years leading QA/QC teams on major projects
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
- Background with an electrical contractor
- Willingness to relocate to Charlotte, NC
Preferred: Data center or mission-critical experience, commissioning exposure, knowledge of UPS/switchgear systems
