DataWrangler is a growing company. More than 80 school districts already use our platform to meter energy data, see where money is leaking, and act on it. Districts are always trying to find dollars without cutting programs. We help them do that.

The role
This is a build-it-yourself seat. We already have one rep in Illinois and a lot more districts than one person can reach, so we’re adding a second hunter to build a book from scratch.
You’ll own the whole process: prospect hard, get to the right people, move deals fast, and close. You build it, and the upside is yours.
You’ll work remotely in the Greater Chicago Area (northern Illinois). Plan to be on the road, though. This business gets done in person, at district offices, board meetings, and industry events. Reliable vehicle and valid license required.
Who you are
• A closer with a proven track record of performance.
• Experience selling into K-12 school districts preferred. The budget cycles and buyer dynamics take time to learn, and we need someone who already speaks the language.
• A self-starter who creates their own momentum and doesn’t wait for leads to show up.
• Comfortable running a full sales cycle and reading a room full of non-technical buyers.
No energy background needed. We’ll teach you that part. We can’t teach hustle.
