Essential Functions
- Production Support: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by end users in our live production environment
- Issue Analysis: Use strong analytical skills to diagnose complex technical problems across our full-stack application
- Bug Fixes & Hotfixes: Implement timely solutions to critical production issues
- System Enhancements: Contribute to feature development and system improvements as time and priorities allow
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of issues, solutions, and system knowledge
- User Communication: Work with support team to communicate technical solutions and timelines to end users
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Frontend: Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript/ES6
- Backend: Proficiency in .NET 8
- Database: Solid experience with MySQL, including query optimization and troubleshooting
- Debugging: Excellent debugging skills across the full technology stack
- Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- 5 years of experience in web application development and support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record in production support
- Experience investigating and resolving user-reported issues
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple issues effectively
- Knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of web application security best practices
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and TypeScript
- Background in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Work is generally performed within an indoor office environment utilizing standard office equipment.
- General office environment requiring frequent sitting; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse; walking and standing for long periods of time; and lifting of less than 20 pounds.
