Role Overview
The client is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support IT project initiation, technology procurements, business process analysis, and system implementation initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, procurement teams, and project leadership to define requirements, support vendor engagements, and ensure successful solution delivery. The position is based in Atlanta, GA with a hybrid work schedule, and the job is open to candidates within the 100 miles radius of Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities
• Support IT project initiation efforts by developing business cases, defining project scope, and documenting requirements.
• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, technical, and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, and requirements gathering activities.
• Develop process workflows, current and future state analyses, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Create system interaction diagrams, data mappings, logical data models, metadata documentation, and wireframes.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with procurement activities including Statements of Work (SOW), solicitation documents, procurement packages, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, QA teams, procurement, legal, and security teams.
• Participate in SDLC activities and support Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Prepare presentations, reports, specifications, project artifacts, and status updates for stakeholders and leadership.
