Duties
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6, incorporating scope, timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Implement Earned Value Management techniques to monitor project performance against planned budgets and schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and supply chain specialists to integrate schedules with procurement and manufacturing plans.
- Analyze schedule data to identify potential delays or resource conflicts; recommend corrective actions proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of schedule updates, progress reports, and variance analyses for stakeholder review.
- Coordinate schedule reviews with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.
- Support risk management by identifying schedule risks and developing mitigation strategies within the project timeline framework.
Experience
- Proven experience in project scheduling within manufacturing or supply chain environments using Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of Earned Value Management principles for tracking project performance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle for integrating project data with enterprise resource planning processes.
- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts including demand planning, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), inventory control, and logistics coordination.
- Experience working with manufacturing operations, production planning, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to analyze complex data related to forecasting, demand planning, and production schedules to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly present schedule status and technical insights to diverse stakeholders.
