Data One Construction is rapidly expanding and hiring 40 Journeyman Electricians for mission-critical data center projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. Work on cutting-edge electrical systems that power the digital world.

We're building multiple crews for specialized installations:

Megabay Cluster Wiring: 12 journeymen
Cable Tray Installation (Bloom): 13 journeymen
Communication Cabling (Bloom): 6 journeymen
Power Wiring (Bloom): 6 journeymen
Grounding Systems: 3 journeymen

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Electrical Installation Work:

• Install electrical conduit, wire, and cable systems
• Pull wire and make terminations
• Install cable tray, ladder rack, and support systems
• Wire panels, switchgear, and electrical equipment
• Install grounding and bonding systems
• Install communication and data cabling infrastructure
• Read and work from blueprints and specifications
• Use hand and power tools for electrical installations

Quality & Safety:

• Follow NEC codes and project specifications
• Maintain clean, organized work areas
• Wear required PPE and follow safety protocols
• Report to foreman on progress and issues
• Work collaboratively with other trades
• Maintain quality workmanship standards

PROJECTS & SYSTEMS

You'll work on advanced data center electrical systems:

• Medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) distribution
• Critical power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear)
• Cable tray and support systems (large-scale installations)
• Communication cabling (fiber optic, structured cabling)
• Electrical distribution (feeders, branch circuits, panels)
• Grounding and bonding systems
• Data hall infrastructure (power distribution, lighting)

These aren't typical commercial electrical jobs—data centers use the most advanced electrical systems in construction. You'll gain expertise that makes you highly valuable in the industry.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years electrical construction experience
• Commercial, industrial, or data center electrical experience
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
• Experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations
• Own basic hand tools
• Valid driver's license
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Reliable transportation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Data center or mission-critical construction experience
• MV/LV electrical distribution experience
• Cable tray installation experience
• Communication cabling and structured cabling
• Grounding system installation
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
