Class A Welder

Position Summary

DataONE Construction is hiring Journeyman Class A Welders for active jobsites. Welders take a pipe weld test when they arrive on site. The work is stick welding Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe from 3" to 20" and TIG welding Schedule 10 pipe from 3" to 16". Welders who can only stick weld pipe will be considered. Welders will also work as a pipefitter when needed and must be able to work 80 or more hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Take and pass a pipe weld test when you arrive on site
• Stick weld Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe in sizes from 3" to 20"
• TIG weld Schedule 10 pipe in sizes from 3" to 16" when that process is required
• Fit, align, and weld pipe to the drawings and the weld procedure
• Work as a pipefitter when needed, including layout, fit-up, and install support
• Keep welds, fit-up, and the work area clean and ready for inspection
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and directions from supervisors
• Work 80 or more hours a week when the job requires i
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PIPE WELD TEST WHEN YOU ARRIVE
• Journeyman Class A Welder Experience (Required)
• 6G Certified within last year (Preferred)
• Must be able to stick weld Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe from 3" to 20"
• TIG welding Schedule 10 pipe from 3" to 16"
• Stick-Only Pipe Welders will be considered
• Able to work as a pipefitter when needed
• OSHA 10 Construction (Required)
• Must be able to work 80 or more hours a week
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites
• Good work ethic and positive attitud
