Position: RCDD Technician (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)Employment Type: Full‑TimeCompensation:About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled RCDD Technician to support the design, installation, and maintenance of structured cabling systems across commercial and industrial environments. This role blends hands‑on technical work with design expertise, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both field execution and high‑level planning.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, review, and validate structured cabling systems in accordance with BICSI standardsProduce and interpret detailed drawings, schematics, and documentationOversee installation of copper and fiber‑optic cabling systemsConduct site surveys, audits, and assessmentsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project successEnsure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and industry best practicesProvide technical guidance to field techniciansRequired QualificationsActive RCDD certification (BICSI)3 years of experience in structured cabling, low‑voltage systems, and / or telecommunications infrastructureStrong understanding of BICSI, TIA/EIA, and NEC standardsProficiency with cable testing equipment (Softing, OTDR, etc.)Ability to read and produce technical drawings (Bluebeam or similar is a plus)Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sitesPreferred SkillsExperience with data center builds, MDF / IDF design, or large‑scale commercial projectsKnowledge of pathway design, grounding / bonding, and cable management best practicesFamiliarity with project documentation tools and construction workflowsStrong communication and client‑facing skills
