Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills. (MS Excel)
- Basic use of hand tools like electric drills.
- Ability to work closely with others in a team environment
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work with computer scanning equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
- Must be able to work both independently and in a Team environment.
- Must be able to have basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors and customers).
- Ability to lift / carry by hand items weighing up to 45 pounds several times a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Data entry and continued maintenance of information fed to a database with the information required for tracking assets throughout an asset's lifecycle
- Labeling of all major assets
- Work directly with technical support and engineering teams for locational deployment and dispensation of assets
- Assist in procurement planning, forecasting, and physical inventories within the labs
- Reconciliation of any inventory and database discrepancies found during inventory audits
