Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate and Set Direction: Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and design software solutions based on customer feedback and business goals.
- Execution and Delivery: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across all layers of our AWS based technology stack: data, application backend, web-based user interface and external APIs.
- Innovation: Explore potential applications of generative AI and other machine learning techniques in our products.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with the rest of the software engineering team to continuously improve our architecture and best practices as we grow.
- Culture: Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- 10 years of software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of hands-on technical leadership from conception and design to implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, masters preferred.
- Experience building applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure, or the proprietary equivalents inside big tech.
- Ability to quickly learn and gain proficiency in new languages and frameworks.
- Comfortable working in Go, Python and/or TypeScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excitement to make an impact in consumer finance.
- Experience leveraging and integrating AI/ML technologies into applications.
- Previous experience developing software in a high-growth, dynamic startup environment.
