Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Presales Consultant to join our dynamic team in Lakewood. As a Presales Consultant, you will be instrumental in guiding potential clients through complex technical offerings, showcasing the value of our solutions, and supporting the sales team to close deals effectively. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between customer needs and innovative technology solutions, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to implementation.

Duties

  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits aligned with their business needs
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop customized solutions that meet their technical objectives
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud computing platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, and virtualization technologies like VMware
  • Assist in technical proposal development, including solution architecture, project scope, and implementation strategies
  • Support pre-sales activities by analyzing client infrastructure, identifying opportunities for optimization, and recommending suitable products or services
  • Demonstrate proficiency in network concepts including computer networking fundamentals and Linux-based systems
  • Deliver clear, detailed technical explanations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders during product demos and discussions

Skills

  • Strong understanding of computer networking principles and protocols
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including deployment and management tasks
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware and containerization concepts
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
  • Experience with project management methodologies to coordinate solution delivery effectively
  • Excellent analysis skills to assess client infrastructure and recommend optimal solutions
  • Proven ability to deliver compelling product demos that address client needs and showcase technical capabilities
  • Strong background in technical sales or pre-sales roles, with a focus on building customer relationships
  • Effective communication skills for presenting complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
