Job Title: Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Location: Valdosta, GA (Direct Hire)
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, mechanical equipment, and systems in a food production facility. This includes motors, pumps, conveyors, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Inspect, adjust, and replace parts using tools and blueprints.
- Operate tools such as drill press, grinder, and welding equipment.
- Maintain work area and equipment cleanliness.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with the supervisor to complete tasks efficiently.
- Adhere to safety, food safety, and GMP guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or similar role.
- Welding skills (stainless & aluminum) preferred.
- Experience with pumps, motors, valves, fans, electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
