The Colocation Project Manager will be responsible for implementing engineering designs to install customer colocation products and services - cabinets, cages, power, backbone communication cables & panels, Project Manager will own end-to-end milestone management, budget tracking & reporting and identification & resolution of issues to ensure on time, on budget and on specification completion of projects. An effective PM will work closely with engineers, track & report real-time updates and have detailed knowledge of assigned projects.
Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating colocation projects to ensure they meet timelines, budge and scope.
Serve as a liaison between internal and external teams, and the customer.
Ownership of projects for customer signature to implementation, holding internal and external kick off calls, communicating with customers the implementation schedule, project status, issues, budget tracking.

Develop detailed project plans including tasks, milestones and deliverables
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements
Manage vendor relationships and the vendor selection process
Oversee milestones and communications with Customers throughout the delivery and post-delivery process.
Organize and coordinate all internal organizations for the timely and accurate implementation of complex projects.
Maintain project management tools by using database management and leveraging ordering systems and reports.
Communicate directly with customers to communicate implementation schedule, ongoing project status, issues and responses to questions. The communication vehicle will be via face-to-face meetings, email, and/or conference calls at regularly scheduled intervals.

Qualifications
Excellent customer service
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Project management experience, preferably in the telecommunications / data center industry
Cross functional collaboration and teamwork
Organizational skills
Experience managing capital projects > $250K
Working knowledge of Datacenter infrastructure - Power, Cooling, Security, Communications
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point
The employee will be required occasionally to meet with customers and internal support teams to review project scope and to ensure positive communication is maintained
