Mechanical Design Engineer - AI Trainer

About The Job

We are expanding into an exciting new area focused on helping AI assistant models become more effective tools for engineering and technical professionals. We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers with hands-on industry experience to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems.

As part of the application process, you will be asked to complete an assessment. If you pass, you will gain access to projects. Based on the quality of your work, you will continue to receive projects regularly. We find our most successful candidates work between 5-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Give AI chatbots complex mechanical engineering problems and evaluate their outputs
• Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance
• Review and validate AI-generated engineering analysis, designs, and technical documentation for real-world applicability
  
  

Qualifications

• Fluent in English
• Detail-oriented
• 2 years of professional engineering experience
• Knowledge of design engineering, dynamics and controls, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and related mechanical engineering concepts
• A bachelor's degree (completed or in progress)
