Data Viz Designer - amazing way to innovate, learn and scale
You will work in our Client Capability Network hub located in Waltham, MA as part of the Data Visualization Lab (DVL). Colleagues in our global Client Capabilities Network deliver distinctive client impact through assets and expertise and are driven by a culture of innovation.
The Data Visualization Lab is an experimental studio that pairs advanced data visualization techniques with design thinking to communicate business insights to our clients. Our group works across industries and sectors, so one day you might be working on a tool to visually explore big data for a healthcare client and a week later you might be making a dataviz comic book for our consumer practice. We prize interesting people that have a broad set of skills and always want to learn new technologies and innovative techniques.
You will primarily design interactive data visualizations for a variety of uses, from public client websites to stakeholder dashboards.
In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to understand the data and ensure it communicates to the intended audience. You and a data visualization developer will also closely collaborate with clients and other consulting teams to understand the data, prototype the visualization and engineer the finished data visualization. You will ensure your design has been prototyped with relevant data and is ready for implementation.
You will also act as an ambassador for existing and innovative data visualization technologies. You will radiate your expertise by mentoring colleagues, giving presentations, and publishing articles on data visualization concepts.
