JOB FUNCTION: Business Intelligence Developer will develop end-to-end analytics. This role will require data warehouse development: modeling raw data into useful data sets for analysis purposes in the medallion architecture framework- bronze/raw, silver/cleaned and structured, gold/analysis-ready. Need someone with SQL skillset- ability to read, write, and validate logic. This role would be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and document business requirements for reporting and data analysis.
- Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data accuracy and quality.
- Responsible for building and maintaining dashboards
- Conduct and present analysis and recommendations on operational problems.
- Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide ongoing support and training to business users on BI tools and reports.
- Maintain documentation of BI processes, solutions, and data definitions.
- College degree in in an analytical field (finance, accounting, mathematics, computer science, economics, natural sciences) or 2 years applicable experience in-lieu of formal education.
- 1-3 years of experience in business intelligence role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Data visualization skills
- General knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Understanding of data stewardship
- Ability to validate logic with limited oversight
- Advanced SQL
- Ability to design and build automated workbooks in Tableau
- Excel (although we don’t do Excel reporting, this is an important tool to know when delivering ad hoc requests)
- Pay Range: $75,000-100,000
