Job Summary
Our Data Quality and Development Coordinator will work within our broader data team to cleanse, standardize, and maintain large data sets for the National Voter File with a high degree of accuracy. This entry-level role is focused on executing established workflows under the guidance of senior team members. This role reports to the Data Quality and Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- Use SQL to standardize and finalize data sets to match existing data structures
- Identify errors in data sets and escalate findings with proposed fixes to avoid future issues
- Update internal databases and data sets with voter data information for department, company-wide, and client use
- Push voter data to various internal databases following established procedures
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of data for downstream use by other departments
- Perform other related tasks as requested by other departments, management, and leadership
Skills
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and problem-solve effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products
Qualifications
- Experience using SQL
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Statistics, or related field
- Previous technical internship or related experience, preferred
- Experience with other programming languages (Python, SQL or similar), preferred
