Have an overall work experience of 5 years, with at least 3-4 years of Guidewire®Claim Center implementation testing experience, Functional automation, In-sprint automation, End to End automation, Regression automation and GT UI, API automation framework experience.

Job description:

  • Understand the project requirements, participate in requirements analysis, and provide testability feedback, prepare the automation test strategy/approach, design the automation scripts, and create the execution plan.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain UI and API automation frameworks.
  • Follow the Guidewire standards and automate UI and API test cases using Guidewire Testing (GT) framework.
  • Perform automation script failure analysis, identify the root cause, fix the automation scripts, and re-execute the same.
  • Attend all Scrum ceremonies and provide automation updates to client stakeholders.
  • Automate Smoke, Functional, Digital application, End-to-End, and Regression test cases and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Perform end-to-end testing across integrated systems, validating business workflows and data flows.
  • Validate API integrations and data flows using REST/SOAP services and API testing tools.
  • Peer-review automation scripts and ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Perform Functional, End-to-End, and Regression automation execution and achieve expected first-time pass percentages.
  • Identify, log, track, re-execute, and validate defects through closure using test management tools.
  • Create Dashboards/Reports in test management tools – Jira/ADO/ALM/Rally/qTest.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, domain leads, and client stakeholder teams.
  • Track automation metrics and publish reports to internal and client leadership teams.
  • Provide Daily and Weekly automation status reports to stakeholders.
  • Bring in automation best practices, tools, and accelerators based on project landscape.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members on automation skills.

 

Skillset:

  • Deep understanding of STLC, Agile methodologies, and strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in functional and automation testing across in-sprint, End-to-End, and Regression cycles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter (mandatory); BillingCenter knowledge preferred.
  • Experience testing Digital and Policy Administration systems.
  • Strong P&C Insurance domain knowledge (Quote, Policy, Underwriting, Billing, Claims, Payments).
  • Good knowledge of Guidewire configuration and integration testing.
  • Deep knowledge of Guidewire Testing (GT) UI & API automation framework.
  • Solid API testing knowledge including REST, SOAP, Postman, Karate, or similar tools.
  • Experience with automation tools such as GTUI, TestCafe, Selenium (C#), Playwright.
  • Exposure to mobile application testing (iOS/Android) is a plus.

  • Guidewire Associate and INS 21 certification preferred.

Job description:

  • Understand project requirements, participate in requirements analysis and test design reviews, prepare automation test strategy/approach, design automation scripts, and create execution plans.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks, including AI-assisted test generation and self-healing mechanisms.
  • Follow Guidewire standards and automate UI/API scripts using Guidewire Testing (GT) framework.
  • Leverage AI-assisted (Copilot) testing to reduce overall test cycle time and significantly speed up automation scenario development.
  • Perform automation failure analysis, identify root causes, fix scripts, and re-execute tests.
  • Attend Scrum ceremonies and provide automation and quality updates to client stakeholders.
  • Automate Smoke, Functional, End-to-End, and Regression test cases and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and execute load, stress, and soak testing strategies; build and maintain JMeter/Gatling scripts and analyze performance bottlenecks using APM tools (Dynatrace/DataDog).
  • Perform end-to-end testing across integrated systems, validating workflows, integrations, and data consistency.
  • Design and implement synthetic test data strategies, including data masking, subsetting, and reusable golden datasets, ensuring data privacy and compliance.
  • Support test data management using Delphix TDM, including data models and masking configurations.
  • Ensure standardization of development and test environments, configuration-as-code, environment readiness, refresh cycles, and parity across environments.
  • Execute and support accessibility testing and audits against WCAG 2.2 and ADA standards.
  • Design and maintain mobile automation test suites for native and hybrid applications using Appium/Espresso/XCTest, including device matrix planning and mobile performance testing.
  • Integrate mobile and web automation with device clouds such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
  • Peer-review automation assets and ensure adherence to QE best practices and standards.

  • Lead end-to-end QA activities across multiple testing streams and applications under test (AUT), including Guidewire and Digital systems.
