At DSA you will become a trusted automation consultant and experience extreme project diversity as you help clients find creative solutions through the sale of integrated systems including IIOT, data acquisition, instrumentation, automated test equipment, process controls, quality controls & inspection, motion controls, vision systems, robotics, machine design & build, AI & machine learning, and real-time visualization.
DSA sales engineers and consultants juggle multiple accounts simultaneously and work closely with out engineering pool to delivering exceptional service to our Fortune 500 client base. You will be expected to live DSA core values of clarity, mastery, integrity, and accountability and follow our proven, certified selling system.
Sales Engineers and Consultants are responsible for all aspects of new business development in laboratory, product, manufacturing & test automation spaces. Successful candidates demonstrate the ability to ask insightful questions, deliver engaging presentations, learn quickly, and exude an executive presence.

Responsibilities
- New business development and existing account penetration through professional selling
- Accurately price jobs and identify the technical and financial risks
- Maintain up-to-date records on prospect/project lead information
- Short term travel to domestic and international sites 20-30% annually
- B.S. in Engineering or Science preferred
- 0–5 years’ experience, preferably in technical sales
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales quota
