2nd Shift Turret Operator

Data Metalcraft is looking to add a Turret Operator to grow with our team!

Data Metalcraft is a manufacturer of formed sheet metal and welded cabinets used in fiber communications, power grids, and industrial products. Our products utilize a broad range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.

Available Shifts

• 2nd Shift - Monday through Thursday 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Job duties:

• Running an Amada EMK2 Turret
• Operate turret machines to punch holes or layouts on sheet metal. Making adjustments and alignments on the machines to make proper punches
• Follow charts and instructions that list machine settings to each cut
• Set-up and operate turret punch press carefully
• Use of hand tools such as hammer, shims, feelers, micrometers, calipers, D.A.s, grinders, and setscrews
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and applying knowledge of shop mathematics

Qualifications

· Previous turret operation experience, 1-3 years minimum

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints

· Basic computer and math knowledge
