Information Technology Project Manager

At the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), we are at the forefront in preventing and detecting terrorist financing, money laundering, and other financial crime. Qualifications:

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. Specialized Experience For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:

- Managing IT projects through multiple phases of the lifecycle (e.g., requirements, development, implementation, and operations); AND
- Applying technical knowledge in one or more relevant IT domains (such as customer support services, data/analytics, or cloud/infrastructure environments); AND
- Coordinating with stakeholders and leadership to deliver solutions that meet organizational mission needs.

In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

Responsibilities:

This position is located in our Technology Division. As an Information Technology Project Manager, you will:

• Lead complex data and analytics initiatives involving large, sensitive datasets in classified and unclassified environments;
• Manage cross-functional teams to design and deliver data integration, transformation, and analytics capabilities (e.g., data warehousing, ETL processes, AI/ML-enabled analytics) across multiple systems and stakeholders;
• Ensure data integrity, accessibility, and compliance with applicable data management, security and privacy policies and standards;
• Communicate complex analytic and technical concepts to senior leadership, translating data insights into actionable recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
