Contract production worker - multiple departments

Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Contract Production Workers to join our dynamic information management team across multiple departments for a 10 month project. In this role, you will be an essential part of our production process, ensuring that products are prepped, scanned, indexed/audited and quality control inspected, and completed efficiently and meeting deadlines. Your proactive approach, time management and aptitude for attention to detail will help maintain high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, technical proficiency, and process improvement are highly valued. There is a potential for continued work once this project is completed, but it is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Document Prepper: Insert separator sheets, remove staples, keep documents in order, repair any tears in paper and prepare the documents to go through the scanners without incident, while maintaining high quality and meeting daily deadlines. I am looking for 5 people.
• Scanner Operator/Quality Control Person: take prepped documents and run them through a scanner to create digital images. You will need to keep the documents in order, view the preview to make sure the scan is of good quality and return the scanned documents to the box in the same order as received. For Quality Control, you will need to view the images to ensure we captured the best quality, and if necessary, perform any rescans. Light indexing may be involved. Persons will be trained on our software. I am looking for 3 people.
• Auditor/Film Scan tech: In this position, you are making sure each image scanned from film has been captured and separated correctly. Attention to detail is a MUST in this position. Some film scanning may occur, where you will be trained on our machines/software on how to set up each roll to individually capture the images being scanned. I am looking for 3 people.
• Film Processing tech: In this position, you will begin by learning how to inspect many rolls of film, add leaders where necessary (on both the beginning and end of rolls), patch poor quality film by placing splices so that each roll can go through a film scanner without incident. This position may also require learning how to generate diazo duplicates from original rolls of film and performing quality control for each diazo generated. This position requires a HIGH attention to detail. I am looking for 2 people for this position.
• For each of these positions, daily deadlines must be met.
• The job may change based on the needs of the business any given day.
• This is a contract hire for the duration of this project - estimated 10 months. There is no guarantee of continued employment once the project has met its deadline.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
