ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Perform minor general maintenance service and repairs throughout the plant in the areas of plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical or vehicle servicing as directed. 2. Perform preventive maintenance as directed.3. Assemble and/or repair racks. Assemble office furniture and cubicles. 4. Operate snowplows, forklifts and lifts, as directed.5. Maintain production standards. Report any production, quality or safety problems to the supervisor immediately. 6. Comply with company rules and regulations.7. Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.8. Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the department.9. Keep manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.10. Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.
