What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Consultant position at DATA INTENSITY LLC?
5–7 years of experience in cloud engineering or system administration.
Implementing secure and scalable infrastructure solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Support migration of on-premises workloads (VMs, databases, applications) to OCI.
Work with OCI services including Compute, Networking, Load Balancers, Object Storage, and Databases.
Configure Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways, and secure communication channels.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
Apply Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and encryption standards.
Maintain cloud architecture diagrams and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor system performance using OCI Monitoring and Logging tools.
Participate in cloud cost optimization and governance initiatives.
Administer and troubleshoot Oracle VM (OVM) and VMware environments.
Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system management.
Ensure system security, patching, and compliance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with Security, Application, DevOps, and Network teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and OCI Resource Manager.
Provide operational support and assist in incident resolution.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Familiarity with cloud migration tools such as OCI Resource Manager or third-party solutions.
Strong background in Linux/Unix administration; working knowledge of Windows environments.
Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in OCI.
Exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
OCI Certified Architect Associate (preferred).
Good communication and documentation skills.
