Configuration Manager 3

Data Intelligence LLC is seeking a Configuration Manager 3 experienced and highly skilled in Integrated Network Support (INS) Technical to support a mission-critical program with the United States Marine Corps in Quantico, VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading technical teams in Department of Defense (DoD) environments and a deep understanding of complex network systems including DNS, LINUX, Firewalls, WAN Optimization, and advanced routing and switching.

This leadership position requires a proactive individual who can manage senior technicians, maintain mission assurance, and deliver Tier II–III network support in a high-security setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of senior network and systems technicians in a dynamic DoD network environment.
• Oversee day-to-day Tier II and Tier III support of enterprise infrastructure, including:
  • Domain Name Systems (DNS)
  • LINUX operating systems
  • Firewall configurations and policies
  • WAN Optimization tools
  • Routing and Switching technologies (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
• Interface with USMC stakeholders to ensure performance, reliability, and security of all systems.
• Provide escalation support for critical infrastructure issues.
• Develop and implement technical solutions in alignment with mission goals and cybersecurity policies.
• Maintain operational readiness and system availability across all supported platforms.
• Ensure compliance with DoD security standards and frameworks.
• Guide and mentor team members on emerging technologies, best practices, and certification paths.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years leading senior technicians in a DoD environment supporting enterprise network systems.
• Proven experience in managing Tier II–III technical support in areas including DNS, LINUX, firewalls, WAN optimization, and core routing/switching infrastructure.

Certifications:

• Must hold IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
• Must meet IASAE Level II compliance
• ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
• Additional highly preferred certifications: RHCE, CCIE, JNCIE, CCNP, Fortinet NSE 5

Clearance:

• Possess and able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance

Other Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Deep understanding of DoD network policies and cybersecurity compliance
• Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
