We are seeking Low Voltage Cabling Technicians for a temp-to-hire position in the Denver Metro area. You will install and configure data communication systems as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
- Expected hours: 40 per week
- 1099 Employee (for the temp period)
- Weekly pay
- Temp to hire
- 4 years minimum of previous experience in telecom, structured cabling, low voltage installations
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment, tools and reading blueprints
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confined Space is a plus
- Rack and Stack
- Patch panels
- Terminations
- Dressing Cable
- Pulling Cat 5/5e/6
- IDF/MDF Build Out
- Pulling and routing Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a in new and existing commercial environments.
- Pulling cable, fire stopping, and termination, including organizing, dressing, and labeling cables to industry standards.
- Installation of support structures such as ladders, racks, and J-hooks & complete closet build-outs.
- Able to work with multiple aspects of the cable installation process, including ISP, rack, stack, patch, pathway construction, rough-in, routing, Telecommunication Room build-out, cable terminations, labeling, and grounding.
- Strong troubleshooting , cable termination and testing abilities
- Able to read blueprints
- Read, write, and understand English
- Able to distinguish color codes
- Scissor Lift/Boom Lift experience
- Physically able to climb and perform installation processes
