Customer Relationship Manager

The Customer Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining close liaison with assigned customers to assist them in obtaining full and satisfactory utilization of services; schedules personal visits to assigned customers and acts in a consulting manner to improve and/or maintain a high level of customer satisfaction; performs additional training as needed and implements new services in client banks as appropriate.

Salary: $74,000 - $100,000 depending upon experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Servicing/Client Relations

  • Makes scheduled customer visits at a minimum of a specified number of times per year.
  • Makes frequent personal visits, telephone calls, and sends written correspondence to assigned customers at all levels of the organization.
  • Consults with customers to solve problems, meet customer needs, and improve and increase the level of customer value and overall satisfaction.
  • Builds and maintain files on all assigned accounts, including records of all products used and any other relevant information.
  • Encourage customers to complete the DCI annual survey.
  • Responsible for negotiations and securing contract renewals.
  • Performs Branch Support on new customer conversions.
  • Supports customers (after conversion) to identify and resolve all process issues.
  • Promotes new and existing DCI products to customers, where appropriate (soft selling).
  • Promotes customer attendance at DCI conferences.
  • Acts as host/ambassador to assigned customers in attendance at the annual DCI Users Conference.

Other

  • Attends internal and external continuing education classes to keep abreast of enhancements to financial services products and industry changes/trends.
  • Ensures that personal work area and other shared departmental work areas maintained in a neat and organized manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years? work experience in a financial organization, preferably in a customer service or account management role.
  • Three years? experience in financial data processing.

POSITION REQUIREMENT KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Ability to Travel up to 30%
  • Understanding of marketing and product promotion.
  • Must possess general knowledge of all areas of the banking industry and related financial data processing.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial institution processes and products.
  • Thorough understanding of DCI and client banks' operations.
  • Knowledge of bank compliance regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial computing applications and general PC operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills and conduct of interpersonal relations.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, in person and through use of telephone.
  • Advanced PC operation and testing skills, word-processing, and spreadsheet software proficiency, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office, and Windows applications required.
  • Possesses sound analytical problem determination and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective planning, coordination, time management, and organization skills.
  • Effective and appropriate face-to-face and verbal communication skills, as well as appropriate conduct of interpersonal relations.
  • Effective communication skills in writing and speaking clearly and concisely.
  • Strong documentation and written communication skills.
