Card Services Analyst
Card Services Analyst is responsible for generating, maintaining, and modifying ATM configurations by completing the necessary set-up steps to define ATMs and card base on the Switchware system for successful ATM & Card Services implementations. The Card Services Analyst also assists Network, and ATM owners and vendors in fault isolation of systems, and acts as a technical liaison between Card Services, support to determine and correct problems quickly. Acts as a resource for financial institution and internal departments for general questions regarding ATMs.
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.
ATM & Card base Set-Up
- Enter information on Switchware for new and existing ATM services using various software applications.
- Work with CSFI to determine the proper load files for the ATM.
- Document changes made to ATM and card base set-up and make bank-indicated processing rule changes.
- Key Admin for SWX keys.
- Perform necessary certifications including FIS, FIME, EMV, ATM.
ATM & Card System Maintenance
- Work with CSFI to develop custom ATM menu screens.
- Creates and writes custom reports using various application utilities.
Documentation
- Maintains statistical reporting for ATM and card transactions.
- Reviews and updates ATM and card implementation procedures documentation as needed.
Problem-Solving & Technical Support
- Uses Switchware application to view and determine causes of problems.
- Utilize FIS Data Navigator (or other FIS tools) and Switchware applications to diagnose and solve problems.
- Assists Networking and Customer Support staff in resolving unusual or persistent ATM or card problems.
Other
- Monitor and verify client expectations are met in terms of quality of service and accuracy.
- Provide complete back-up support and assistance to Card Service Implementation and Specialists as needed.
- Ensure that related work areas are maintained in a neat and organized manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education requirements
- Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Three plus years? work experience in EFT services.
- Two plus years? work experience with ATMs or other POS devices.
Position requirements / skills
- Previous ATM experience in using FIME tools for ATM certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of on-line transactions, and ATM terminal operations.
- Strong knowledge of ATM, card, and financial institution settlements.
- Good understanding of financial data processing & financial institution operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong analytic, decision making, problem solving, interpersonal, customer service, & time management skills.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills addressing various levels of audience within organization; including technical and non-technical.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional overnight travel
- Flexibility to work after hours/on-call/weekends as required
