What are the responsibilities and job description for the Palantir Forge - Data Engineer position at Data Capital Incorporation?
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
An active Secret Clearance is highly preferred. Candidates without an existing clearance must be willing and eligible to undergo the clearance process.
Expertise in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex data pipelines is essential. Connecting and ingesting data from various sources (ETL/ELT processes). Ensuring data quality, cleanliness, and version control. Leveraging technologies like Apache Spark and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
Proficiency in Python is particularly valuable for developing pipelines and custom logic within the Foundry environment. Other relevant languages include: SQL, PySpark/Spark, JavaScript (for web application development), TypeScript. React
Palantir Platform experience: Specific familiarity with Palantir's platform is highly preferred, especially: Understanding its foundry ontology, pipeline builder, and other applications. Experience with designing and using the ontology to model and link data semantically
Skills in building operational applications within the Forge/Foundry ecosystem, including using low-code/no-code solutions to create user interfaces and workflows
Experience with data modeling, analytics, and creating interactive dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders
An understanding of overall system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data security best practices
