Data Architect

Job Summary

The Data Architect will play a critical role in designing, evolving, and optimizing the company’s cloud-based data architecture. This position requires a strong foundation in data engineering, hands-on experience delivering cloud data solutions, and the ability to clearly communicate complex architectures through diagrams and detailed documentation. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms aligned with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience using distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark, MapReduce, or Databricks.
• Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (conceptual, logical, and physical models).
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.
• Excellent diagramming and visualization skills using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
• Actively participate in the hands-on development and implementation of cloud data solutions.
• Identify, recommend, and implement performance optimization and scalability improvements across data platforms.
