Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and process data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data quality, validation, version control, and governance across the pipeline lifecycle.
- Work extensively within Palantir Foundry, including:
- Ontology design and semantic data modeling
- Pipeline Builder
- Foundry/Forge low-code tools for building operational applications
- Develop custom logic, transformations, and analytics using Python, SQL, PySpark/Spark.
- Build user-facing interfaces, dashboards, and workflows inside Foundry using low-code and web technologies.
- Utilize cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) for scalable data storage and processing.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure alignment with security best practices, cloud architecture principles, and compliance requirements.
- Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or PySpark
- Proficiency in Python for pipeline development and custom transformations
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and data governance
- Understanding of system architecture and data security best practices
