Duties
- Conduct comprehensive testing of high-voltage electrical components and assemblies using specialized equipment and techniques such as X-ray inspection, steel radiographic testing (RT), and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications to accurately perform assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and other precision instruments to assemble and verify high-voltage systems.
- Perform surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes with accuracy and efficiency to ensure optimal electrical performance.
- Execute quality control and quality assurance procedures to identify defects or deviations from standards; document findings meticulously for analysis.
- Apply steel magnetic particle inspection (MPI) techniques and aircraft non-destructive testing methods to detect surface or subsurface flaws in critical components.
- Maintain detailed data collection records during testing procedures to support analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to industry standards such as ASME codes & standards while conducting inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support manufacturing activities by assembling high-voltage modules using appropriate hand tools and mechanical knowledge.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics, troubleshoot issues, and improve testing methodologies for enhanced product quality.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing test environments with a focus on high-voltage systems or electrical assemblies.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with non-destructive testing methods including X-ray inspection, RT (radiographic testing), MPI (magnetic particle inspection), and aircraft NDT techniques.
- Proficiency in surface mount technology (SMT), soldering, assembly processes, and the use of hand tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, quality assurance practices, and adherence to industry standards like ASME codes & standards.
- Ability to analyze test data accurately and generate detailed reports for review.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills to identify defects or inconsistencies promptly.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with familiarity in using data collection tools for process monitoring and improvement.
