CABINET FINISHER

JOB SUMMARY:Assemble and complete aircraft cabinet components at the expected standards of safety, quality, schedule, and cost, using engineering and industrial definitions, procedures and guidelines that support the delivery to the aircraft for all aircraft models. Promote a positive work environment and display a positive and respective attitude. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):Perform at expected standards of safety, quality, schedule and cost Work with engineering and industrial definition using 2D/3D data, company standards and work instructions to build aircraft cabinet components Adopt continuous improvement practices in your daily workEmbraces ACE values with peers and help create a work environment aimed at operational excellenceSelect materials from stock to manufacture parts and maintain traceability of materialsCommunicates and interact well with co-workers and managementHandles finished, plated and painted parts in accordance with company standards and proceduresMaintains a clean and organized work areaWorks in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety proceduresPerforms cleaning of any equipment as neededPerforms all other duties as assignedNON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):Other duties as assignedMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent6 months of knowledge of aircraft carpentry, carpentry or fabrication Able to set up and operate all standard equipment or toolsGood working knowledge of math and geometry and be able to work in both metric and imperial units of measureGood communication skills and understands the importance of schedules and budgetsBasic computer skills Able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodationMust have visual capacity and muscular dexterity to work on fine detail, high cost products with a minimal errors and reworkAble to work with engineering and industrial definition using 2D/3D data, company standards and work instructions to build aircraft cabinet componentsMust be able to work with adhesives and chemicalsMust not be allergic to industrial chemicalsMust be able to work in confined spaces.ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Able to solve practical problemsAble to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Manufacturing experienceWORKING CONDITIONS:Typical factory environment. May work in areas with high noise levels, and in confined spaces. Will work with company’s approved adhesives and chemicals and exposed to cabinet shop sanding dust. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:The compensation for this position typically falls between $22 and $29 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a shift differential or relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
