We are currently hiring for reliable Electrician with strong work ethic to be part of a great team in Lafayette, IN. This job in a healthcare environment
Responsibilities:
- Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment and circuits, including power distribution systems, motor control center and backup emergency switch gear.
- Follows appropriate preventative maintenance schedules to ensure proper maintenance and maximum life of the equipment
- May participate in customer service activities related to electrical distribution, nurse call systems, TV systems, public address systems and other equipment and systems
- Reports problems through the work order system and suggests solutions to systems and equipment
Requirements:
- Formal Electrical training in a healthcare environment is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams
- Prior electrician experience
- Commercial or institutional environment experience preferred
Pay: From $29.75 per hour
