- Monitor progress, give feedback, and help each child improve their skills.
- Help organize practices, events, and friendly competitions.
- Work with other coaches and staff to coordinate sessions and ensure smooth, safe programming.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (driving to local schools/parks, carrying equipment).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Availability for our typical schedule: weekday after-school shifts (: 2 pm–7 pm) and weekend shifts (: 9 am–2 pm).
- Willingness and ability to attend in-person training on January 10th.
- Comfortable working in gym or outdoor settings; able to lift and transport sports equipment as needed.
- Prior experience playing or coaching relevant sports (basketball, soccer, flag football, baseball, volleyball, etc.).
- Previous experience working with children — especially ages 3–12.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with kids, parents, and fellow coaches.
- Ability to follow/co-implement coaching plans and curricula effectively.
- Motivation, patience, and a positive attitude — you enjoy encouraging and inspiring young athletes.
- Familiarity with sports equipment and safety protocols.
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $18.00–$23.00 per hour
- Hours: 5–20 hours/week (after school, evenings, weekends)
- Start Date: After training (training scheduled for January 10th)
