Our Mission
Dash accelerates drug development. By fusing advanced automation-native lab workflows and integrated software into a unified platform, we provide the biopharma industry with high-velocity, high-quality, data-driven bioanalysis. We are committed to reducing the time and cost to bring life-saving therapies to patients.
About Dash Bio
We are building the infrastructure for modern drug development — moving beyond the manual, fragmented processes of traditional CROs by taking a technology-first approach to bioanalysis. Our platform is automated, GLP-compliant, and purpose-built to industrialize scientific workflows that act as bottlenecks across the industry.
We deliver next-generation preclinical and clinical bioanalysis results with unprecedented speed and precision. This is an environment for change agents who are ready to apply their skills to solve hard problems at scale.
The Role
We are hiring a high-energy, deal-closing Account Executive to own and grow our Series A–C biotech segment. You will work alongside our Director of Business Development to divide and conquer the commercial landscape: she handles large strategic accounts; you build a fast-moving pipeline of emerging biotech clients who need bioanalysis done quickly and at fair, transparent prices.
This is a hunter role. You will prospect, pitch, close, and manage a high volume of accounts with shorter sales cycles. You will be the point of contact for clients from first call through project kick-off, and you will collaborate with our scientific team to scope work and deliver quotes with speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a pipeline of emerging biotech accounts (primarily Series A–C), driving high deal velocity from prospecting through close
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone, and conference attendance to generate new business
- Qualify leads quickly and run efficient, consultative discovery calls with CSOs, VP Pharmacology, and study directors
- Leverage quote.dash.bio and collaborate with scientific ops to deliver accurate quotes and scopes with fast turnaround
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in HubSpot: logging activities, updating pipeline stages, and forecasting accurately
- Represent Dash at industry conferences and events, identifying and following up on leads in real time
- Partner with the Director of Business Development to identify accounts ready to scale to strategic status and facilitate smooth handoffs
- Gather and relay client feedback to inform service development, pricing, and positioning
- Hit and exceed quarterly revenue targets
Qualifications
- BS or MS in life sciences, chemistry, or a related field
- 3–5 years of sales experience in CRO, bioanalytical, or life sciences services
- Demonstrated track record of managing a high volume of accounts and closing deals efficiently
- Familiarity with Series A–C biotech buying cycles and key decision-makers (CSO, VP Pharmacology, study directors)
- Working knowledge of bioanalytical services (LC-MS/MS, LBA, PK studies) sufficient to speak credibly with scientific buyers
- Experience with CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; comfortable managing many active opportunities simultaneously
- High energy, self-directed, and motivated by results
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission (OTE communicated during interview process)
- Equity participation
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
- 401(k)
- Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving, well-funded startup at the intersection of biology, automation, and software
