SUMMARY:
The Payer Relations and Systems Specialist is responsible for projects related to the company’s insurance contracts and licensure. This position also assists the Reimbursement Systems Manager with any Brightree conversions related to new mergers and acquisitions as well as all other duties assigned while maintaining compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Completing new and renewal insurance application for new and existing branch locations. As well as communicating with insurances via phone or email.
- Completing new and renewal licensure requirements as needed for state and insurance regulations for all branch locations
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
- Maintains a qualified staff and performs all necessary supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel and processes assigned.

Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED
- Data entry experience and time management
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Microsoft Excel
- Reporting and data analysis
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
