Position Overview:

Bucked Up is looking for seasonal, part-time Retail Sales Associates to help customers at our American Fork Retail Store through the busy holiday season. This position starts as soon as possible and runs through the end of January. We are a high-energy environment and are looking for applicants who have great people skills and are reliable. Associates drive revenue by providing customers exceptional service through relationship building, sharing product and style information, and presenting a clean, safe, and well-maintained store. Employees are expected to be respectful and professional with customers, fellow associates, and management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete opening and closing procedures and tasks as directed.
• Greet and interact with all store customers.
• Learn all products and be able to cross-sell.
• Proactively use associate education tools to build product and styling knowledge.
• Help customers to fitting rooms and follow up to see if they need additional sizes or styles.
• Restock items on display as they are sold.
• Process all transactions, including purchases, refunds, and exchanges.
• Clean the store, including restrooms and employee-only areas.
• Embrace the brand and understand brand positioning.
• Follow all operational guidelines, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in and attend store meetings.
• Participate in and assist with preparation for store inventory.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report any potential hazards to the store manager.
• Adhere to loss prevention practices and be aware of and report potential incidents.
• Support an environment of learning and trust by acting positively.
• Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Interest in fitness supplements, or a strong desire to learn!
• Ability to learn and navigate computer systems.
• Ability to handle cash and provide change without error.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally and maneuver effectively around the sales floor and stockroom.
• Flexible scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holiday peak periods.
• Embraces our values and sets an example through their behavior.
• Takes ownership of tasks and incorporates feedback from management.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Part-time, seasonal position from start date through January 31.
• Pay: $13.00 – $14.00 per hour, depending on experience.
