Description:Accurate physical receiving of materials/products to maintain the integrity of inventory control and ensures delivery of materials/products to the proper department.Position responsibilities:Receives product deliveries.Ensures the purchase order number is on all paperwork.Records and checks the quantity and quality of goods received.Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments.Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyers for product returns/repair.Properly inputs received material into the computer systemDelivers product to appropriate internal personnelAssists in other departments as needed.Perform cycle counts regularly.Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and managers.Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulationsRequirements: Communication:Understands and adheres to organizational and department policy and procedures.Always conducts himself/herself in a professional mannerMaintains job-related confidentialityAlways communicates respectfullyAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingOperates with a sense of teamworkRequirements:Always communicates respectfully.Experience on Forklift.Ability to communicate effectively verballyCertified to operate standup forklift.
