Position Summary

The Infrastructure Services Engineer is responsible for working in a team environment to support and enhance the development and management of DartPoints’ Infrastructure Services line of products and customers.

DartPoints’ suite of Infrastructure Services includes:

• Multi-Tenant and Private Cloud environments
• OS and anti-virus management
• Full server and network device monitoring and management
• Managed backup and vaulting
• Managed disaster recovery and replication
• Managed firewall and network appliances
• Managed IPS/IDS appliances

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintenance, change management, issue resolution, lifecycle management and support of server, storage, network systems for DartPoints customer facing platforms
• Manage availability of multi-tenant cloud platforms, delivering 99.999% uptime SLA to customers
• New customer provisioning and services installation
• Escalation resource for Customer Support Teams
• Act as final-tier escalation for critical incidents; participate in 24×7 on-call rotation
• Maintain a working level of proficiency with all DartPoints services
• Other as assigned by your supervisor

qualifications

• Associates Degree in Network Services, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or other technical discipline and 2 - 4 years of applicable experience
• 2-5 years hands-on experience managing Nutanix HCI in production including deployment and migrations
• Deep expertise with Veeam Backup & Replication and/or Zerto in multi-site replication in enterprise or service-provider environments
• Strong knowledge of hypervisors (Nutanix AHV required; VMware ESXi highly desired)
• Comfortable with physical data center tasks: racking, cabling, smart hands, hardware break-fix, and DCIM tools
• General understanding of IP networking is required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Strong attention to detail, making and keeping commitments and meeting deadlines
• Relevant certifications strongly preferred: NCP-MCI, VCP-DCV
