We are currently partnered with a leading independent investment banking firm on hiring analysts for their New York office. The firm specializes in financial services, providing strategic advisory on M&A transactions, capital raises, and other corporate finance transactions for clients across banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech sectors. Currently the firm is looking to grow out their junior resource to assist with the uptick in deal flow.
Roles and Responsibilities:
We’re looking for Analysts to join the firm full-time upon graduation. Successful candidates will benefit from unmatched exposure to a broad network of clients, and the opportunity to work with top senior bankers in the space. With immediate exposure to a variety of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising transactions, and other strategic advisory transactions, this role comes with several long-term growth opportunities including career advancement. Daily the Analysts will:
- Financial Analysis: Perform valuation analyses and build financial models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, etc).
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior bankers and clients throughout deal processes.
- Transactions Support: Assist in preparing pitch books, client presentations, and marketing materials.
- Due Diligence: Conduct industry-company specific research and analyze data for ongoing transactions.
- Overall: Develop a diverse skillset that will serve as a strong foundation for career success.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Formal training or previous experience with financial modeling.
- Positive attitude and desire to work with and contribute to a close-knit team.
- Academic excellence with a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related degree and GPA of 3.5 or higher.
