What are the responsibilities and job description for the Debt Advisory Associate position at Dartmouth Partners?
Our client, a leading independent investment bank, is looking to hire an Associate into their Debt Advisory group based in Chicago.
This team works with private equity-backed, privately held and public companies, structuring and arranging financing in the context of M&A, event-driven, refinancing.
This team devolves as much responsibility as possible to junior and mid-level members, so there is significant opportunity to develop. As an Associate, you'll be responsible for holding the pen on the model, running lender outreach and answering lender questions. You'll attend client meetings and have designated responsibilities for those calls and will see all aspects of the transaction from end-to-end.
Applicants should have:
* 3-4 years' of relevant experience gained within a related role - debt advisory, leveraged finance, private credit, M&A / sector banking.
* Significant 3 statement modelling experience.
* Exemplary communication and stakeholder management skills
* Team-player with a high level of accountability
