Environmental Service Technician I (Housekeeping) - Nights

Position Description

We help our patients and visitors live well by providing a clean and safe hospital. As an EVS Tech 1, you would perform general cleaning tasks across the hospital:

• Interact with patients and visitors
• Clean occupied patient rooms
• Prepare discharged patient rooms for the next patient
• Clean operating rooms
• Operate floor cleaning equipment
• Spill response
• Transport waste

Pay Details

• Pay Rate : Starting at $17/hour
  • $2.00 Weekend shift differential
  • $1.60 2 nd shift differential
  • $5.50 3rd shift differential
  • Holiday Pay Time and a Half

• Shift Details :
  • 1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm rotating weekends
  • 2nd Shift – 4:00 pm – 12:30 pm rotating weekends

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

• 40 hours per week

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping is preferred.
• Be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills required: email, eLearning, Ipad, Vocera, and pagers.
Able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, handling fluctuating workloads.
