At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Central Scheduler to join our team in the Diagnostic Center.
The primary responsibility of the Central Scheduler is:
- Order Entry for Lab and Radiology
- Result retrieval and report printing
- Quick registrations for Lab
- Scan Providers notes and Consent forms
- Phone operating screening for multiple departments
- Check EMR for all laboratory and radiology orders Making CDs of patient images as required
An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Medical Terminology Recommended
- Insurance Knowledge Required Working in a hospital (or scheduling) setting 1-2 years recommended.
