What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chair Car Operator - DHART position at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center?
Responsibilities
- Completes a safety evaluation based on weather and road conditions prior to accepting a transport request.
- Inspect and clean vehicle daily.
- Maintains readiness of Wheelchair Van to respond to transport requests.
- Operates lift gate of vehicle
- Utilizes road mapping, GPS hardware and software for transports.
- Maintains communication with the DHART Communications Center for the duration of each transport via 2 way radio or cellular communication.
- Respond promptly to all calls.
- Provide outstanding customer service in a professional manner.
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner per policy.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift and maneuver 125 pounds

Area of Interest: Service- Pay Range: $17.00/Hr. - $26.35/Hr.
- FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week
