| Position Purpose | The Social Content and Community Specialist creates content for and engages with audiences on Dartmouth's flagship social media channels. Reporting to the Director of Social Strategy and Digital Engagement, this role combines hands-on content production (approximately 60% of the role) with community management and social listening (approximately 40%). The Specialist writes, designs, and produces static and written content for Dartmouth's institutional accounts, manages day-to-day community engagement across platforms, and serves as the team's eyes and ears on what audiences are saying about Dartmouth online. Day-to-day editorial direction comes from the Associate Director of Social Media. This is a creative, audience-facing role for someone who is fluent in the rhythms of social media, writes well, and wants to help shape how a major institution shows up on the platforms where its audiences spend their time. |
