We are looking for diesel mechanics to help maintain and repair our fleet of tractors to keep our drivers safely delivering products that everyone uses each day. Come be part of the Dart family.

Responsibilities will include:
- Perform diagnosis, repair and maintenance of fleet including electrical and brakes
- Preventative maintenance including oil change, brakes, lights, filters, tire pressure and tread depth, etc.
- Knowledge of repairs with Detroit Diesel, Cummins, and Mercedes Engines.
- Write itemized "story" to summarize each repair performed.
- Follow all DOT, State & Federal requirements and company standards.
- Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
- Good mechanical aptitude and work ethic needed
- Contribute to the goals of the shop, leadership team and company
- Properly clocks on and off applicable repair orders and repair segments.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2-5 years of mechanic experience on heavy-duty trucks
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to use hands to handle materials, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
- Regularly lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
